Village Boys Record's DNA and MTUB Get Multiple Nominations at BAMA Awards '19

Village Boys Records, the parent merger label co-CEO'd by Kojo Songz and Rockiefella, has bagged 9 nominations at this year's BAMA Awards and both CEO's attribute the label's recognition at BAMA to the joint contribution and good works they've made since they merged their individual mini labels.

VBR is a merger of Kojo Songz's DNA (Day & Night Agency) and Rockiefella's MTUB (Murder Til You Bleed) label.

Off their BAMA nomination split, DNA has 4 nominations and MTUB has 5. On the DNA artiste sheet are Kojo Songz and Stunner Bizzle but Rockiefella splits off as a lone nominee on his MTUB side.

In his singular appreciation speech, Kojo Songs disclosed that VBR looks forward to pitching an eligibility stake at VGMA and the label aims at making that possible by putting out good quality music that will attract a huge national recognition. He added that the label needs strong home support from its Bono fans as well support from the entire nation.

BAMA (Brong Ahafo Music Awards) has been a big rock of motivation to the Brong region's artistes since its inception. The award scheme's existence is a relief to the artistes in the Brong region, as it serves as their pre-career recognition while they work towards VGMA (Vodafone Ghana Music Awards).
