Popular Ghanaian gospel musician Kwame king known in real life as "Jeremy Boakye Yiadom" cautioned new gospel acts to guard against allowing fame, ego and money to take centre stage in their career.
Kwame king revealed that the current quality of gospel music in Ghana is substandard unlike before since most of the new gospel singers take delight in riches, popularity and pride than serving the Lord with their talent in spirit and in truth.
“It’s sometimes pathetic when upcoming gospel singers are in for pride, fame and money but they should always remember that their career is at stake if they are in for such pleasures in life.”
He added that though challenges may disrupt the progress of most new gospel singers’ career, they must remain determined.
And he quote -The uniqueness about your music makes you who you're as an artiste, am not just doing this for fame or money but to touch lives and change lives and leave an impact in billions generations
